Who this is for

You have built something beautiful. The website has not caught up.

Most of the people we work with are excellent at what they do and quietly embarrassed by the site they send people to. Usually it was built fast, years ago, on a platform that fought them the whole way.

Your Instagram outperforms your website

Your feed looks expensive. The site people land on afterward does not match it.

Inquiries arrive half-formed

You are answering the same five questions over email because the site never answered them.

You are attracting the wrong budget

A site that reads as inexpensive brings you clients who expect to pay accordingly.

You have avoided touching it for a year

The platform is confusing, the login is lost, and updating one photo takes an afternoon.

About

We have been on your side of this.

Donovan Studio came out of rebuilding Glam Atelier's own website. We are not an agency. We are a business in your industry that got tired of the site it was sending people to, and fixed it properly.

Klaudia Donovan

Klaudia Donovan

Design & brand direction

Klaudia founded and runs Glam Atelier, a luxury bridal hair and makeup house in Chicago. She has spent years on your side of this exact problem: writing the inquiry replies, watching where enquiries go cold, and paying for a website that was not pulling its weight. She handles how a site looks and what it says.

James Donovan

James Donovan

Build & operations

James handles the operational side: domains, hosting, the inquiry form, timelines and the launch checklist. He is the reason projects stay on schedule, and the one who makes sure nothing goes dark on launch day.

Questions

Before you inquire.

How long does a project take?

A one-page site is usually two to three weeks. A full site is four to six. The single biggest factor is how quickly you send photos, copy and feedback. Projects that stall are almost always waiting on content.

Do I have to write the copy?

No. You can write it, or we can write it from a questionnaire and a conversation. If you already have copy from your current site, proposals or Instagram, we can shape that rather than starting over.

Can I update the site myself afterward?

Yes, and you get real help doing it. At handoff you receive a written guide covering how to swap a photo, change wording and put the updated site live, plus a walkthrough call where we do each of those once together. Most people find the photo swap takes about a minute after that. If you would rather never touch it, ongoing updates are available instead.

Who owns the site and the accounts when we are done?

You do, all of it. The domain stays in your name, the hosting account is yours, and you get every file. Nothing is locked to us, and you are not renting your own website. If you ever want to move to another designer, you can hand them the folder and go.

What happens to my current site and my Google ranking?

Nothing goes dark. We map your existing pages and set redirects so the traffic and rankings you have already earned carry over to the new site.

Do you build online stores?

Not at the moment. This is for service businesses. If you sell physical products, we are happy to point you somewhere better suited.

What does it cost?

It depends on the number of pages and how much writing is involved. We share pricing on the consultation call once we understand the scope, and it is fixed for the project rather than hourly. A limited number of founding client spots are open at introductory rates.
